What are Village Groups?

“Village Groups" are an extension of The Village into your neighborhood. Villages meet weekly throughout our community in homes. Village Groups are smaller communities where we live life alongside each other, grow in faith together, pray for each other, and love and serve our neighbors in the name of Jesus. They are the primary place to connect with other people at The Village and to join in to God’s mission in our community.

What happens in a Village Group

Village Groups meet for approximately an hour and a half each week. Every week, people in Village Groups share food together, study Scripture, pray for each other, and challenge and encourage one another to live more like Jesus. During the gathering, you will be encouraged to participate as much as you feel comfortable. You don't have to be an expert in faith to participate in a Village Group, we want you to come as you are. Village Groups aren't for people who have it all figured out, they're for people who are trying to figure it out! Click the button below to see a description of the existing Village Groups, and indicate in the form below if you're interested in a specific group.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! Childcare is provided in many Village Groups, most often in the house where the group is gathering.

Fill out this form and someone will be in touch with you about connecting you to a group meeting near you.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha runs for eleven weeks, each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together. Everyone is welcome!
