COMMUNITY PROJECTS: Sent Sunday wouldn't be possible without you! Please sign up for one of the areas below.  Additional projects may be added on site, as well out out in our community.

1.) Back to School Projects:
We need at least 200 volunteers to serve our local schools and help them get ready for the beginning of the school year. This year we are excited to support Shayne Elementary, Oliver Middle, Thurgood Marshall Middle, as well as Sunset Middle and Elementary Schools. These schools serve many of the children in our area, and we want to help each school welcome their students on the first day of school with a beautiful place to learn and grow. This is a great way to help provide a positive environment the children are excited to enter every morning.

Tasks will include: painting, weeding, mulching, grounds clean up, pressure washing, hedge trimming, and additional projects needed to be ready for the first day of school.

2.) Meals of Hope Meal Packaging:
We need at least 100 volunteers to help us package 50,000 nutrient-rich meals for Meals of Hope that will be distributed to undernourished children and families in the Tennessee area.

Volunteers will: measure, seal and package the food bags, and prepare them for shipment.

3.) Sorting and Organizing Supplies for Our Local Schools (ALL SLOTS FILLED!)
We need 25 volunteers to help stuff backpacks with much needed school supplies for teachers and students in our area. Volunteers will: sort, stuff, and prepare the backpacks with age appropriate supplies.

4.) Green Bean Drop (ALL SLOTS FILLED)
We need 75 volunteers to sort and bag 8,000 pounds of green beans to be distributed to area food pantries for families in need in our community. This is a family friendly project and a great way to provide much needed fresh vegetables to those who may otherwise not have access to it on a daily basis.

5.) #LoveYourNeighbor Bags (ALL SLOTS FILLED)
We need 10 volunteers to help package blessing bags for the homeless and care packages for our local police and fire departments. Volunteers will package the bags to take home with them and distribute them throughout the month of August.

6.) Teacher Appreciation Gifts (ALL SLOTS FILLED)
We want to love on our teachers and we need 15 volunteers to package 500+ teacher appreciation gifts to be delivered on the first week of school. This is a great family friendly activity and an awesome way to love on our community teachers!
