GOOD FRIDAY AT THE VILLAGE
The Friday before Easter is a day set aside to remember the significance of the cross and the death of Jesus on the cross, and is often referred to as "Good Friday" or "Holy Friday." Churches often hold a Good Friday worship experience to pray, commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus, and reflect on its meaning.
Although we're not meeting together as The Village for Good Friday this year, we're bringing The Village to your living room or wherever you gather today. Below, you'll find music, prayers, activities and discussion questions for kids, and a link to a Good Friday devotional. We hope you'll take a few minutes today to reflect individually or gather with people of any age to pray and spend some time together thinking about the meaning and significance of the day. We hope you'll join us as we celebrate our first Easter together as The Village this Sunday morning at 9am and 11am at Sunset Middle School, 200 Sunset Trail!

VILLAGE KIDS IDEAS
It can be difficult to find the right words to say to talk with children about Jesus dying on the cross.

GOOD FRIDAY DEVOTIONAL
It's been said that you can't experience the joy of Easter without the sorrow of Good Friday. You can't appreciate and celebrate the amazement of the empty tomb on Easter without the utter devastation and confusion of the cross on Good Friday.
